Extreme Makeover—FURNITURE Edition ROUND-UP (and other stuff)

So much to blog...so little time, when I am not feeling too pukey, or playing Starfall with my not-yet-2-year-old. And yes! You are all so smart! The reason I am feeling pukey, is my newest creative venture--a new addition to our family in the very first part of May. So, this is officially my excuse for everything! If I don't comment on your awesome post...it's because I'm pregnant. If I forget to return your email...it's because I'm pregnant. If I don't finish posting about the pirate birthday party until my son turns 6...it's because I'm pregnant.

That being said, I have a series of pirate party posts in the queue. And last night was my "Trash to Treasure" class for the ladies at my church, and I have promised them that all of my notes will make it to my blog, shortly, so I am planning a "Trash to Treasure" series with all the the wisdom I have gathered on the subject, and lots of links and photos. I also want to revisit some of my favorite Halloween posts from the past, but if you are one of those that is ready for all things Halloween, and don't want to wait until that date some where in the future where I manage to get that post up, I suggest you click here, or that link in my label cloud that says Halloween. That should get you to most of those posts.

I threw the Extreme Makeover Party and was a pretty lousy hostess. I haven't even taken the time to comment on each participants post, yet. (I did read them all, however, and you should to). But I thought I would share a couple of favorites with you. These were some I was trying to show my class last night, but was unable to, due to technical difficulties.
This picture and the one on the top belong to my friend, and fabulous photographer, Erika. I am giving her a new title: "The Spray Paint Queen!" Go here to check out all of her fabulous projects! She also gives some pointers about her favorite paint. I love what she did with this boring wood chair. Alicia had another cool take on a very similar chair, here.
Love this table redo from Jen @ Sancutary Arts.
And I am totally inspired by how the Craft Rookie took this boring chair and made it fun and funky!

Ok. That's all I have time for now! If I missed your fav...it's because I'm pregnant!
