Doodles are a really big trend, right now in scrapbooking and digital scrapbooking. Why not carry that over into home decor?
I did this in my MIL'S laundry room over Memorial Day weekend. It is hard to get a good photo with so much light coming in, but I took inspiration from the digital brushes and frames (available now at places like
Little Dreamer Designs) to frame this window. The doodle art could be fun in a child's bedroom, a scrapbook/craft room, or any place that you need a little fun!
And you don't really have to be a world class artist to do it!
OH WOW! I love.love.love this! How awesome of an idea. I've been wanting to do something with my studio but I get in here and get so busy "working" that I just keep putting off decorating. You've now given me the bug. lol
ReplyDeleteRYC about Shrinky Dinks...I get mine (and they are the Shrinky Dink brand and I get them through CraftsEtc.com. Here's a link for you: http://www.craftsetc.com/store/search.aspx?searchTerm=Shrinky+Dinks

I love how the artwork frames the window. It makes it pop!
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute and I love your ideas! I feel the same about my own projects and "insanity". If I'm not losing sleep on one idea/project, I am dreaming up a new one!
