Today's idea comes from my friend, Kenise, who gets my vote for nicest mom ever! She has been known to cut her daughters' sandwiches into hearts and other fun shapes, just so they know she cares (and to get rid of the unpopular crusts). She showed us that if you take some contact paper and cut it to the size of the inside of the lunch box, you can use a dry erase marker to write a special message to your child. Then erase it, and write a new one the next day. Isn't that sweet? This is what was waiting for my daughter in her lunchbox today.
Awesome idea! And Kenise gets my vote for nices mom also : )
ReplyDeleteHadn't heard about the contact paper one. Love the idea. I used to write notes on my sons napkins but then he, as he puts it, got to old for it.
ReplyDeleteSo now I'm going to start using the dry erase markers on his bathroom mirror. That way only he sees the message in the morning.
Kim,
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to let us know how the mirror thing works! Is it easy to clean? Thanks for the idea!
