For those of you who are still trying to come up with a clever but do-able idea for your cards, you are in luck. My sister has finished designing her cards for this year and said I could post them (and submit them to Tip Junkie--she wants to win, too.), since she doesn't have a public blog. She admits this wasn't totally easy, because she is a little insane, like me (genetic) and had to decorate her letters and extract the photos, but if you are less insane you could just do a plain photo of your family holding letters to spell something festive.
Depending on the size of your family, here are some word options:
JOY
NOEL
LOVE
PEACE
BELIEVE
MERRY CHRISTMAS (just kidding...actually I know a few families who could do this!)
(maybe just) MERRY
Your sister did an awesome job! Maybe I could corral my sis into doing the Photoshop work for this type of card... she's much better than me!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! It's funny that you posted this, because I was planning on doing the same thing this year with the word "Noel." This use to be the rage on Twopeas a few years ago. I think it's really cute when you get one kid to peek through the letter "O!" That's what I want to do! Have a great holiday and thanks for the link!

Aw, the kiddos are cute! That little one and his 'L' is a sweetie. Cute idea! Since it's just Mr. & me, we could use the word HO, I guess...think that would be appropriate?!? lol
ReplyDeleteYou constantly amaze me. I love your card from last year, and your sister's card is pretty cute too! Thanks for sharing...I look forward to seeing your other previous Christmas cards.
ReplyDeleteJust found your site via Just a Girl and I am loving it! Thanks for sharing your great ideas.

I am loving your insanity- and your sisters- Where can I pick up the talant of that gene???
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. I love that card. I wish I sent cards out...it seems to be the last thing on my list.
ReplyDeletegreat idea!
Sunny, you made me laugh! I can just see your cards now!
ReplyDeleteRemember, Rebecca, along with the talent, comes the psychosis...it's kind of a mixed blessing! (J/K) I think we had to be resourceful growing up and kind of helped eachother cultivate creativity.
