I blogged about my Christmas tree here, and so far, everyone's favorite thing, is our train that goes around the middle. I did a quick blog search and it looks like Lowes used to carry it, but they don't anymore. I did find it for sale on ebay, here. If anyone finds it elsewhere, please leave a comment. As for the kids attacking the tree...I'm pretty sure my son got a chair once or twice to try and play with it, but for the most part, having it out of reach means that the adults get a little more control over the situation, and the children are thrilled just to watch it go around the tree. It's been a lot of fun!
We bought the train a couple of years ago from Lowe's, but ours would never go around the tree more than once. We fiddled, and fiddled because we loved the way it looked so much, but we ended up returning it. I'm glad to see that yours works year after year!
ReplyDeleteThat's so frustrating, Renee. Maybe that's why they don't carry them any more. Ours does pretty well, except for the shrieking noise! We do have to work sometimes to make sure the track is level all the way around, or it gets stuck going uphill. (I think I can?)
