PARTY PARTY!!!

Welcome Everybody! Come on in! Does it feel like a party in here? Of course, I had to put up a few decorations. Do you like the party music I have on for today? Of course, I have some refreshments for you. I finally twisted my husbands strong arm hard enough to get him to share the secrets behind his awesome molasses cookies.

Go here for everything you ever wanted to know about them! (And maybe leave a nice comment for Barry, so he'll want to share with you more often!) If you enjoy cake at a party, maybe you'd better go here!

Pull up a chair, make yourself comfortable. There is lots to see and do around here. But don't forget to share your favorite party insanity with Mr. Linky below. Did I mention there would be party prizes? Well, there will be at least one (semi-undetermined) party prize. For now, let's call it a "Party in a Package." Doesn't that sound like fun? Plus, the opportunity to be raved about on my blog! You can't win if you don't play! (No, this isn't the Arizona Lottery!)

So for my Party Party, I am inviting you all to experience the excitement of my daughter's Kim Possible birthday, because it was THE BOMB...literally!
Here's a sneak peak, but for the full experience, you'd better go here. (For layout credits, go here). There are lots of other party and birthday ideas around here. Click on the tags on the left to see more of my insanity and Mr. Linky below for some fabulous inspiration from my other party guests. Don't forget to leave them some love for sharing their awesome ideas with us! I'm sure you'll find something to inspire you!

PARTY RULES (just a few...):
1. Keep it clean (even if your party wasn't G-rated, please make sure your post is! :-)
2. Remember to link to your specific post (or two, or three), instead of your general blog page. This will become a great resource for party planners months from now, and we want to be able to find your great ideas then, too! Oh, and please include a link to this party so others can come and play, too!
3. I reserve the right to remove a link if it is irrelevant or inappropriate, or some other unforeseen bad thing--because "It's my party and I'll cry (remove links, award prizes, etc.) if I want to, cry if I want to, cry if I want to..."

Let's Get This Party Started!

(Grr....Aparently Mr. Linky didn't get his invitation, because I keep calling him (er...his website) and he isn't home! Ugh! So, this is how this is going to play out, until/unless Mr. Linky decides to show up. Leave a comment with your post URL. I will add the links to this post as quickly as I can so we all can enjoy. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we aren't going to let Mr. Linky rain on our parade (er...party), are we? Party On!)

UPDATE: Well, well! Looky who decided to show up to the party. Since Mr. Linky is here, we'll let him stay, but since he's been a little flaky lately, I'll try and keep posting the links as well (when I get back in a few). So, let's give him a shot, but you might want to post your URL in your comments, too--just to be safe. Thanks for playing, everyone! There are some incredible ideas out there!

  11. Okay, I haven't blogged any of our birthday party madness, but it might be helpful for some of your party planners to have a good, shapable, stackable cake recipe to use, so that's what I'm offering. :)

    Not Just a Mommy, Sure it's diamonds...if you're buying! :-)

Aw thanks, Amy! Good to know I'm putting my music training to good use! The funny thing is that today there is a post on Tip Junkie about how you shouldn't have music on your blog. Of course, they do that on the only couple of days that I do. Oh well! What's a party without some good tunes?

  27. Just added a "Ducky Party"
It was my daughter's first birthday and she loves rubber ducky.
