While we were visiting my in-laws, I couldn't resist snipping some branches off of a blossoming tree in their front yard to make a centerpiece for our Sunday dinner. If you are fortunate enough to live in an area where things are in bloom, it's easy and cheap to bring the outdoors in for a little Springtime atmosphere. These branches were a little messy, so be prepared to clean up some loose blossoms. I think they look great displayed in a simple modern vase, like this rectangular one you can find at IKEA for just a couple of dollars.

So pretty! I was just thinking about that yesterday. I have a bush that is starting to bloom in my backyard. And a tree in a field across the street with beautiful pale pink flowers. Although now that it is snowing, I hope the flowers don't all shrivel up!
ReplyDeleteYour centerpiece is stunning!
XOXO

I own a gift basket business and it is the most requested gift over the last 15 years. From the comments I have already received, appears to be something a little different and something anyone could use. I have been so touched by the comments that I have decided to give 2 boxes . They will be the $100 deluxe size.
I really do want to bless people!!!
I want my blog to encourage others. I have decided that giving is life at its BEST. The drawing will be Saturday!
