Party Procrastination

I don't think I realized what a feat it would be for me to select the finalists in my party party competition last week. There are really so many fantastic and diverse parties to choose from! I would highly recommend going back to the post and reading them all! I am having a terrible time narrowing down the field, but I think I must if I want people to vote.

So while I am taking forever to make my post announcing the finalists for your vote, I thought I would share a few fun things that caught my attention from various parties. I LOVE the decorations in the top photo from Color Me Red's polka dot party. I could look at them all day, and they didn't come from a party store or cost a lot of money!

I love the tutus from this Angelina Ballerina party, and what's better, they served double duty, making fluffy chair covers, and as presents for the party guests.

The cake at this Elmo and Abby party is amazing! And I love the use of lanterns above!
That's a pretty darn cute monkey cupcake (from Alayna's Creations)! Don't you think kids would LOVE these at a zoo/jungle/monkey/animal-themed party?

Just a small peak of the partying that is to be found at my party party....

In other news, while I have been procrastinating picking my finalists, I have been doing all kinds of things around my house that I have been procrastinating for a long time. More about that to come, but just a heads-up to get motivated and get something crossed off your to-do list around your house, because I feel another linky party coming on soon!

  2. I would hate to be you. There were some really cool parties and some really different themes that you don't see all the time.

No matter who you pick I think they were all wonderful parties!

    Thanks again for hosting this.

    Hugs,
