Chinese New Year Valentines

Did you realize that Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year land on the same day this year? If you are wanting to do something a little different for Valentine's Day, or if you like to celebrate both holidays, I have a few ideas for you!

Our Best Bites has the perfect solution for combining both holidays. Yes, I realized that fortune cookies are Chinese-American, but I think they are the perfect blend of the two holidays. You can write your fortunes to say whatever sweet sentiment you want and package them up in decorated take-out boxes. I love it!
If you want to go all out and cook a Chinese meal, The chow has a whole bunch of recipes, that look yummy and romantic enough for Valentine's Day.

And of course, the decor. How romantic would a room full of red chinese lanterns be?
Look at this birthday party from Ohdeedoh. It would be perfect for such an occasion, with all of the pinks and reds.

Will you celebrate Chinese New Year, this year? Valentines? Both? Neither?

Big Favor to ask:
