Kira in Wonderland

Our Christmas in July party is still going strong.  The linky list will be open through Tuesday night, so it isn't too late to share your fabulous ideas with us and get a chance at winning the Christmas gift tags from The TomKat Studio.  Speaking of Kim and the TomKat Studio, if you haven't been following her career, you really should.  She has been getting amazing press and opportunities lately, including this one, a week ago Saturday, where our paths crossed for the first time.

I have been following Laura Winslow Photography on Facebook for a while.  When I saw the casting call for 6-9 yr. old girls, I couldn't resist submitting my Kira.  We were both excited when she was selected as one of the Wonderland models.

Laura orchestrated this amazing Alice in Wonderland inspired photo shoot, bringing together the work of dozens of creative women, including Kim, who created the "tea party" of the photo shoot.  Although I was only there as a "stage mom," it was an amazing feeling to bask in all of the creative energy around me.  I really had to restrain myself from going over as Kim was setting up and offering to help/learn all of her secrets.  :-)   Every one was so kind and excited to be part of the shoot!  Some of the vendors were there helping with the styling the models and many of the other moms are etsy sellers and creative women, too.  What a meeting of the creative minds!

Here are some of the gorgeous images from that day, shot by Laura and styled by Kim.  Enjoy the party eyecandy!  And that sassy redhead...yeah, she's mine!
