CSN is Good to Me!

A while back, the lovely people at CSN gave me credit toward something I had REALLY been wanting to purchase, so that I could review it.  I was holding off on the writing the review until I finished the room, but in the meantime, CSN contacted me again, and said it was time to review something else!  So I think it's about time I showed you what I got the last time, don't you?!?  But first, what would you choose if you could pick anything (with in a certain price range.  :-)), from the 200+ CSN stores?  It's a tough choice!  I know, I've spent hours looking!  The Le Creuset Cookware, is so beautiful, and the splashes of color would be lovely in my kitchen!  (It's probably more than just pretty, but I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know).

Or my baby is getting big enough to need some toys.  How great are these ones from Dwell:

I could go on and on, but I actually think I know what I am going to get, but I'm going to keep it a secret for now.  And instead reveal what came in the last box from CSN to me...are you ready, already?

Hello, beautiful!  Actually, he she it has a twin.  I don't know if you remember my long-standing dining room dilemma.  I know some of you saw the potential in the old chairs, but they were rickety and worn, and I was just ready for something different.  I LOVE the way these Napoleon-style chairs go with the feel of the table and almost perfectly match the benches I have in there.  The irony is that now I'm afraid that everything will look too matchy-matchy, when I have re-done the table, even though the table, benches, and chairs have all come from different places.

These chairs (here is where I found them on CSN) are really sturdy, and pretty easy to assemble (I had my husband put together one, while I put together the other one, to make sure I didn't mess it up).  They have just the right amount of distressing--although my daughter was disturbed by the wormholes in the seat, and couldn't understand why they would be there on purpose.  :-)  I am excited to show you the whole dining room once I complete the table makeover, but honestly, with the new chairs and some fun placemats I picked up at Pier 1, you almost can't tell how badly the table needs to be refinished (which makes its makeover easier to procrastinate).

As for the old chairs...they are acting as make-shift patio furniture right now--until I can get what I want out there--and then they will probably go the way of Craigslist.  If you have a strong affinity for them and live in AZ, let me know!

In the meantime, thanks CSN for helping me furnish my home, bit by bit!

DISCLOSURE:  Just in case this wasn't clear in my ramblings, periodically CSN offers me a product to review or giveaway at no cost to me.  Recently, I've been choosing to review products, because I get to keep them, and I can be selfish like that.  In the case of these chairs, the cost of the chairs exceeded the value of the products they offered to send me, so they sent me store credit, and I paid for the balance of the purchase myself.  I am not compensated monetarily, and, as always, the opinions I express about a product are purely my own!  (Except for when I write about my daughter's opinions on wormholes, and such, in which case, those are purely her opinions!  :-))

  1. Le Creuset vs. Dwell toys? That is a touch choice! I'd probably go with the toys because a) I'm a lousy cook and b) the toys are not only fun for the little ones, but they make super cute room decor as well. Can't wait to see what you choose.

  2. From a chef...Le Creuset are amazing pans...well worth the money for how they distribute heat and how long they last. They had the full sets at the culinary institute where I was teaching this summer and I adored them.
