Since I went green and black and white on my Halloween mantle this year, I had to do something else with all of the fun orange decorations I have acquired over the years, so my daughter and I put together this vignette on the wall beneath our stairs.
It's got a bit of a vintage/traditional Halloween vibe going, and I like how the old ceramic pieces work well in this grouping. They were given us by Grandma and at least one piece really is vintage.
The banner was a Target find (after Halloween clearance last year). You might recognize the sign as a free printable I used on last year's mantle. My sister gave me the letter blocks for Christmas. They can be reconfigured to say a number of different things.
I turned on the lights for this shot. I'll light all of the candles for Halloween, as well.
And the candy corns in the bowl from this post? Gone. I'll have to get more and make sure that our candy corn treat basket is full for the Trick or Treaters.
Next I'll show you the inexpensive way we decorated the outside of our house this year.
Do you decorate outside, inside, both, or neither?
Love it! Usually I do decorate but this year we're too far behind. I'm just hoping I can get Christmas up in time!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Love it!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Did you put up orange damask wallpaper just for Halloween? Love the wall.
ReplyDeleteThe wallpaper is actually a muted red (looks a little warmer in the pictures) and is up year round. I do like the way it works with the orange, though! :-)
