Patio Makeovers with Pier 1

Spring is officially upon us! One of my goals for this Spring was to redo my front porch area and while I may not make it before it gets too hot here in Phoenix (my pantry is still torn apart), this is the perfect time for many of you to be thinking about your outside spaces. Outdoor furniture has arrived at Pier 1, and there is lots of inspiration to be found there!

I really am drawn to outdoor spaces defined by an area rug. I'm loving these indoor/outdoor options for my front porch.

And since they are indoor/outdoor, you can change your mind and use them elsewhere if you happen to have decorating ADD. :-) 

I desperately need a new doormat! Mine is completely falling apart. This colorful one would be pretty and rather unexpected (and kind of ties in with the above rugs). 

 

I love the idea of rockers on the front porch. With the style of my home, I'm not sure I can get away with a traditional white wooden rocker, but this wicker version would definitely work.

I also love swings! Have you seen Pier 1's swingasan?  You'll want to check out all of outdoor versions of the iconic Pier 1 papsan chairs availiable this spring. Like this one...

Which I would loved to see filled with this amazing red rose papasan pad!

I'm not sure if this pad is intended to go outdoors, or not, but I think it would totally make one of these chairs! It would be like cuddling up inside the petals of a rose. Can you just imagine the gorgeous pictures you could take of little kids nestled inside the rose?!?

 

 

If you are looking for color, I love these outdoor garden stools! (Again they would be beautiful inside your home, as well!)
