Hauntings of Halloween's Past

Today over at the CSI Project, they are having a Halloween-themed challenge, judged by the always-amazing Stephanie of A Brooklyn Limestone.  She has incredible ideas for Halloween (in addition to the amazing renovating and decorating she does)!  Go here and scroll down to see some of them, like this creature survival kit that she actually gave out as Halloween invitations last year.
See?...Have you ever received an invitation like that in your life?

So I've decided to link-up some of my most favorite projects from Halloween's past--in addition to my Halloween mantle--to the challenge and thought I would share them with you again, in case you missed them the first time (or three) around.

You can get all of the gory details about these bat-shaped invitations here (Yes, they pale in comparison to Mrs. Limestone's, but they are less expensive to make and send!)  :-)

If you have lots of time this Halloween, you might want to paint your Halloween cookies:
Yes.  It can be a lot of work, but if you don't get all crazy--like I'm known to do--it can be a really fun (and messy) activity to do with your kids.

I'm supposed to be bringing cupcakes to the church Halloween party this year.  Have you seen any amazing ideas?  Leave me a comment w/ a link and I'll do a round-up before the big day.  Are you ready for Halloween?
